After your private guided tour of Genova’s historical centre you will be transferred to the coastal town of Santa Margerita. From here you will explore the surrounding towns of Portofino, San Fruttuoso and the quaint fishing village of camogli. Continue to the Cinque Terre where you will partake in walks and guided visits to include Portovenere. Throughout you stay you will participate in tastings of local produce. Day 1 GenovaOwn arrangements to your hotel in Genova. Remainder of the day is at leisure. Day 2 Genova Meet in the hotel lobby with your tour guide, for a half day guided tour of the historical centre of Genova, visits include: St Laurence Cathedral, the Ducal Palace, Piazza San Matteo, the Chiesa di Gesu, Via Garibaldi and Piazze de Ferrari. Day 3 Genova, Santa Margherita Ligure After breakfast you will be transferred to your hotel in Santa Margherita Ligure. Day 4 Santa Margherita Ligure, Gulf of Tigullio Meet in the hotel lobby with your tour guide, for a full day guided tour of the Tigullio region. Boat trip to Portofino and San Fruttuoso, including a visit to the Benedictine Abbey. Visit the quaint town of Camogli, before returning by train to Santa Margherita Ligure. Day 5 Santa Margherita Ligure, Monterosso Morning at leisure after breakfast meet with your driver and transfer to your hotel in Monterosso al Mare. Remainder of the afternoon at leisure in Monterosso. Day 6 Monterosso & the Cinque Terre Meet your tour guide in the lobby of the hotel and depart for full day excursion to explore the Cinque Terre. Commence by train to Vernazza and then on to Manarola. Trek along the Via dell¡¯Amore to Riomaggiore (1.2km), followed by wine tasting and a boat trip to Portovenere. Return by boat to Monterosso. Day 7 Monterosso, Corniglia After breakfast meet your tour guide at the entrance of Monterosso Rail Station depart for a visit to the tiny town of Corniglia perched on top of the hills. After the visit return to Monterosso. Remainder of the afternoon at leisure. Day 8 Monterosso Your Riviera and Cinque Terre experience comes to an end.
