Day 1 RomeIndependent arrival and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 2 Rome, Assisi, Siena, Florence
AssisiDepart at approx 07.15am from Hotel Diana by deluxe coach to the medieval hilltop town of Assisi. Time at leisure to explore the Basilica of St. Francis and it’s masterpieces from Giotto and Cimabue. Lunch break (lunch not included). Continue to Siena, medieval walled town famous for the shell-shaped Piazza del Campo, the town square. Depart for Florence. Dinner. Overnight in hotel.

Day 3 Florence
After breakfast visit the historical centre of Florence, the Duomo of Santa Maria Novella and Giotto’s bell tower, the Baptistery with its golden bronze doors. Continue to the Palazzo Della Signoria and Santa Croce Basilica. Afternoon at leisure, or choice of optional private excursion to Pisa - (not included in rate). Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 4 Florence, Bologna, Padua, Venice
BolognaAfter breakfast depart for Bologna and explore its arcades and porticoes. Visit Neptune Square, King Renzo’s Palace, the Podestà Palace and the Basilica of San Petronio, one of the biggest in the world. In the afternoon depart for Padua, and visit Sant’ Antonio Basilica. In the evening arrive in Venice. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 5 Venice
After breakfast depart by waterbus (vaporetti) to St Mark Square, visit the Doge’s Palace (external). Proceed to the Island of Murano and visit a glass factory. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 6 Venice, Chianti Region - Montepulciano/Tuscany, Rome
MontepulcianoAfter breakfast depart for the Chianti region in Tuscany famous for Chianti Classico wine. Visit Montepulciano, renown for Brunello. Local wine tastings, free time at leisure. Evening departure for Rome.




Day 7 Rome
At approx 08:00am visit Rome by foot including: Piazza di Spagna, Fontana di Trevi, Pantheon, Piazza Navona and end in San Pietro Basilica. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 8 Rome, Naples, Pompeii, Sorrento
NaplesDepart for Naples after breakfast at approx 07:00am. Enjoy a short panoramic city tour, visiting Mergellina, Castel dell'Ovo Plebiscito Square, the Royal Palace, the Maschio Angioino and the port. After lunch in restaurant depart for Pompeii. Visit the excavations of the famous Roman city. Depart for Sorrento. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 9 Sorrento, Capri, Rome
After breakfast board the hydrofoil for the Island of Capri. Weather permitting visit the Blue Grotto in small rowing boats. Lunch in a restaurant. Afternoon at leisure. Afternoon departure for Rome.

Day 10 Rome
Breakfast at hotel. End of our services

ImportantDue to the frequent changes of transportation and the type of transportation used, only one piece of hand luggage per person is allowed for excursions to the South of Italy, as the luggage handling can be extremely difficult and often may be lost or damaged. We are not responsible for those passengers who do not follow these luggage restrictions.
