Day 1 Tuesday: Milan, Verona, Venice Early morning departure from the designated meeting point. Depart Milan visit: the Nicolis Museum, a “cabinet of wanders” of the XX century, with a collection of precious items. Free time for lunch (lunch not included). Depart for Verona where you will visit the world famous Arena, the Roman Theatre still operable today during the summer season, .the house of Juliet followed by time at leisure to visit the town centre. Early afternoon depart to Mogliano. Dinner & Overnight. (BB/D)
Day 2 Wednesday: Venice
After breakfast, depart for Venice by train. We start our day by visiting a mask manufacturer, where you will learn the history and making of the traditional “bauta” of Venice. Time for lunch (lunch not included). After lunch continue with a guided walking tour of all the major sights in Venice: the Basilica and the square of S. Marco, the Bridge of sighs, and surroundings. Free time in the afternoon. Rail back to Mogliano. Overnight (BB).
Day 3 Thursday: Venice, Riviera del Brenta, ModenaAfter breakfast we take a ride on the Riviera del Brenta, the river where the noble families of Venice used to build their Villas. We will stop in Strà, to visit Villa Foscarini dating back to the XVII century. Continue to one of the most incredible museums of Italian fashion and design, The Rossimoda Shoe Collection. Time for lunch (not included). Depart for Sant’Agata Bolognese for a tour of the Lamborghini Collection and Production. Here you will have the opportunity to see how these these gorgeous cars are manufactured. Proceed to our hotel in Modena. Dinner with typical Emilia cuisine. Overnight. (BB/D)
Day 4 Friday: Modena, Maranello, Modena
After breakfast, we will start the day visiting the Ferrari factory. A guided tour of the Ferrari Gallery followed by a bus ride around the factory and The Galleria del Vento. Continue on to an Acetaia where we will learn how the real “Aceto Balsamico di Modena” is made. We will also have the opportunity to taste typical local products of the Emilia cuisine. (Light lunch). Return to Modena. Time at leisure to explore the city center or return to your hotel. Free time for dinner. Overnight in Modena. (BB/L)
Day 5 Saturday: Modena, Parma, Milan
After breakfast depart to Parma, famous for its castles, its Parmesan cheese and for its Prosciutto. Time to explore the city center. Visit the Duomo and the Teatro Regio. In the afternoon visit the Villa Verdi, the place where Giuseppe Verdi lived. Discover the myth of the most important Italian “Maestro”. Proceed to Milan late afternoon. Dinner in a local restaurant. Overnight. (BB)
Day 6 Sunday: Milan
After breakfast a guided half-day tour of Milan city center. Visits will include the Gothic Cathedral, the Last Supper, and the Basilica of S. Ambrogio. End of tour.
