Day 1 Saturday: Turin
Welcome to Italy! Upon arrival at Turin or Milan airport please proceed through the Passport Control and collect your luggage inside the customs area. Transfer on your own to the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the first Capital of Italy In the evening, meeting at the hotel with tour host which will provide information regarding the program and literature of the destination that are about to be visited. Overnight in Turin.

Day 2 Sunday: Turin
TurinMorning Walking tour of Turin: starting from Piazza Castello, admire Palazzo Madama, Palazzo Reale, the Castle of the Acaia, the Royal Gardens, the church of San Lorenzo, via Garibaldi and other monuments. Afternoon available to continue to explore town, relax in one of the famous Cafè or visit the Egyptian Museum, that host the second most important Egyptian Collection in the world after Cairo Museum. Tonight you will enjoy a great dinner served in a traditional Ristorante in Turin, away from the touristic crowds and amongst the locals. Overnight in Turin. (B, D)

Day 3 Monday: Turin - Day at Leisure
After breakfast, explore the town and the near beauties and choose the excursion you like. You may visit Venaria Reale, a unique complex of environmental and architectural continuum of extraordinary charm, residence of the Savoia House, the first and last Royal Family of modern Italy. Alternatively, you may choose to visit the nearby Lake Maggiore with the astonishing Borromee Islands. After the tour ends return to the hotel by private coach. Overnight in Turin. (B)

Day 4 Tuesday: Turin, Asti, Santa Margherita Ligure After breakfast, transfer to Rapallo En route stop and visit Asti and the Monferrato territory. Just a few miles South of Turin, Asti is one of Piedmont’s most elegant cities. Famous for its magnificent tower houses, Asti is often called the city of a hundred towers but it is also renowned for its superb wines and spectacular Palio horse race. The historic city center, where the remaining 12 of 120 towers can be seen, has kept its typical medieval radial plan, and is best visited on foot or by bike. Continue to the Castle of Grinzane. Lunch will be served in a local farmhouse, surrounded by vineyard where the Barolo comes from. Grinzane Cavour became a symbol of the “Langa del Barolo” after Count Benso transformed it into a production base for the great wines of Langa. Today, Grinzane Cavour is home to an important wine museum and an ethnographic museum, which illustrates the local farming traditions. Arrive on the Riviera late afternoon. Overnight in S. Margherita Ligure. (B, L)

Day 5 Wednesday: Cinque Terre, Portofino, S. Margherita Ligure After breakfast, full day visit of Cinque Terre and Portofino. Explore the Cinque Terre experiencing a magnificient ride by boat. Then continue to Portofino. Your guide will be glad to offer a chilled white wine on the Portofino bay. Return to hotel. Dinner will be served in a local restaurant with a magnificent view on the bay. Overnight in S. Margherita Ligure. (B, D)

Day 6 Thursday: Parma, Como After breakfast departure to Como En route stop in Parma to explore the town with a local guide. Parma is one of the richest and most beautiful Italian towns, celebrated not only for its magnificent masterpieces but also, and maybe even more, for the excellence of food and wine. Lunch will be served at Corale Verdi, a unique trattoria where the choirs of the near Theatre are used to eat when in town. Then, continue to Como. Dinner served at the hotel in Como, facing the lake. (B, L, D)

Day 7 Friday: Lake Como, Bellagio
Meeting with the guide and departure to explore Como. Discover the wonderful historical centre then catch the boat to Bellagio. After a breathtaking cruise walk along the narrow streets of this unique jewel of architecture. In the afternoon return to your hotel by boat. Tonight enjoy a nice dinner in a restaurant in the heart of the town. Overnight in Como. (B, D)

Day 8 Saturday: Departure
