Commence this tour in the fashionable city of Milan. Explore its many
artistic treasure and designer fashion boutiques. Depart for the ancient
Roman town of Verona before heading to Lake Garda, staying in the town
of Castel-Sirmione. From here you will head to Venice, and explore this
most unique city before heading off to the hills of Tuscany. You will visit
Montepulcaino, the famous medieval town that is renowned for producing
some of Italy’s best wine, before returning to Rome.
Day 1 Monday: Milan
Welcome to Milan! Milan is one of Iyaly's most fashionable cities and one of the richest cities in Europe, but it also holds several historic and artistic attractions. Independent transfer from Milan airport to your hotel. Time at leisure.
Day 2 Tuesday: Milan
After breakfast we start with a half day tour of Milan. This includes visits to the city centre, the Duomo - the largest gothic cathedral in the
World - and the gallery. Free time to visit the city or for shopping. Optional excursion to visit
the famous Leonardo da Vinci painting “The Last Supper”. In the evening return to your hotel. Dinner and
overnight.
Day 3 Wednesday: Milan, Verona, Lake Garda, Venice
After breakfast we depart enroute to Venice. Stopping in Verona, you’ll have the opportunity to visit one of the
most romantic and charming towns in italy, with the Roman Arena and Giulietta’s house celebrated by Shakespeare’s work.
Take a guided tour of the city and lunch in a typical italian restaurant. In the early afternoon depart for Venice, stopping along the way to visit the enchanting town of Sirmione (Lake Garda). Arrive in Venice in the evening.
Dinner at a local restaurant.Overnight .
Day 4 Thursday: Venice
After breakfast, board your
private water bus and enjoy an outstanding cruise through the lagoons of Venice. Stop for a visit in Murano. The ancient art of glass blowing is still carried on in this town, thanks to a few artisans left
on the island. Continue to St. Mark’s square, visiting the exterior only of the splendid cathedral, the Dogi Palace
and the Bridge of Sighs. Spend the afternoon at leisure roaming the canals. Return to the hotel for dinner
and relaxation.
Day 5 Friday: Venice, Montepulciano (Tuscany), Rome
After breakfast, depart from Piazzale Roma for Tuscany, known for its romantic churches, castles and
delicious wines. You will proceed to Val di Chiana with a stop in Montepulciano, a medieval town rich in history and art.
Renowned for its “nobile” wines, Montepulciano is also the host of an annual jazz
and wine festival in July. Spend the afternoon getting to know Montepulciano at your own pace. Free wine tasting in
many shops and free time for shopping. In the evening arrive in Rome. Overnight
Day 6 Saturday: Rome
After breakfast depart for a walking tour of Rome (departure between 7.45-800am).
Visits will include St. Peter’s Basilica, St. Peter’s Square, Navona Square, the Pantheon (visit inside), and the Trevi Fountain. The afternoon will be spent at leisure. Return to the hotel.
Overnight.
Day 7 Sunday: Rome
Breakfast. Day at leisure to explore the rest of this amazing city. Optional excursions also available.
Day 8 Rome
Breakfast and end of services.
