A leisurely paced tour starting in Rome and ending in Venice. Taking in
the main art cities, visiting the historical sites as well as allowing you free
time to further explore each city.
Day 1 Rome
Independent arrival and transfer to the hotel. Day at leisure. Overnight.
Day 2 Rome
Breakfast at the hotel. Pick up at 07.45am for a morning tour of Rome visiting: the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain - a baroque jewel, the Pantheon (not on Mondays) - the best preserved of all
Roman buildings - and the gorgeous Piazza Navona built on the ruins of the Domitian’s Circus, adorned by the
famous Fountain of the Four Rivers, masterpiece of Gian Lorenzo Bernini. Afternoon at leisure and overnight stay.
Day 3 Rome
Breakfast at the hotel. Full day free for personal activities and optional sightseeing. Overnight.
Day 4 Rome, Florence
Breakfast at the hotel and departure at 06.45am by deluxe motorcoach for Florence, crossing the regions of Lazio and Umbria. On arrival, city
tour visiting the Duomo, the Baptistery with the golden doors by Ghiberti, Giotto’s Bell Tower, the Academy of Fine Arts
with the original statue of “David” by Michelangelo. From here, we walk to Piazza della Signoria with the Palazzo Vecchio, Florence’s Town Hall, the Loggia dei Lanzi with the Perseus
by Cellini and the Fountain of Neptune. Lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon free for
optional activities. Overnight.
Day 5 Florence
Breakfast at the hotel. Day at leisure. (Pisa or Siena San Gimignano optional excursion). Overnight.
Day 6 Florence, Venice
Breakfast at hotel and morning free for personal activities. At an indicated hour, transfer independently to the train station for
departure by train for Venice. Transfer out of Florence and into Venice on your own. Overnight.
Day 7 Venice
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning walking tour visiting (meeting point at 9.00am – Piazza san Marco, tourism office near
Correr Museum): the Doge’s Palace, the Bridge of Sighs, St. Mark’s Square and Cathedral. Afternoon at leisure.
Overnight stay in hotel.
Day 8 Venice
Breakfast at the hotel. End of services
