Day 1 Monday - Rome, Siena, Chianti Region, FlorenceEarly morning departure for Siena, the delightful medieval city famous for the Palio, visit with a local guide. Then leave for the Tuscany Chianti region where you are in treat for a delicious wine-tasting session in a typical cellar producing red wines. Continue on to Florence. Overnight at the NH Anglo American or similar. Day 2 Tuesday - Florence Continental buffet breakfast. Guided sightseeing tour of this fascinating city with its beautiful Piazza del Duomo, the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, Giotto's Bell Tower, the Baptistery of St. John and the Academy of Fine Arts housing the "David" by Michelangelo. Rest of the day at leisure for optional sightseeing to Pisa or shopping. Dinner with drinks included. Overnight. Day 3 Wednesday - Florence, Verona, VeniceContinental buffet breakfast. Departure for Verona and guided visit of this enchanting town of Romeo and Juliet and the Roman Arena. Then continue towards Verona’s wine region for a wine tasting in a typical winery. Day 4 Thursday - Venice Continental buffet breakfast. In the morning a guided walking tour Piazza San Marco, the Doge’s Palace, the Bridge of Sighs and the Prisons. Then visit a glass factory to see the moulding of glass. Afternoon at leisure or for optional tours to the islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello or for a gondola ride, an experience not to be missed. Overnight.
