An exciting tour discovering two wonderful regions; Veneto and Piemonte. Indulge in the local food and wine, meet the local and visit some of the most important historical sites.

Day 1 - Venice, Treviso Transfer by train from Venice Railway station to Treviso. Arriving in Treviso, accommodation in the 4 star Hotel B4 Maggior Consiglio by Boscolo or similar Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight.

Day 2 - Treviso, Asolo, Bassano, Verona
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart Treviso for Asolo and meet with the guide for visiting “the city of a hundred horizons” that preserves its charming medieval structure with its Fortress overlooking the town, the Cathedral and the Castle of the Queen of Cyprus. Time at leisure for lunch. In the afternoon you will reach Bassano and meet with the guide for a walking city-tour: Piazza della Libertà, Ponte Vecchio, and the Museum of the Grappa. Transfer to Verona. Accommodation in the 3 star Hotel Mastino or similar. Overnight (B)

Day 3 – Verona, Lake Garda (Riva del Garda-Sirmione), Verona
SirmioneBreakfast at the hotel. In the morning, meet with the guide for a walking city-tour: Romanesque churches, Gothic towers and castle, Renaissance palaces with their beautiful frescoed façades, squares and elegant courtyards. Together with an expert guide you'll be able to experience Verona in all its aspects, its hidden treasures its porticos. The tour will include the famous house of Romeo and the house of Juliet, the stunning Scala family tombs, masterpiece of gothic architecture, Signori square, Erbe square with the fountain of Madonna Verona, the Arena, the Roman amphitheatre and much more. Time at leisure for lunch. Meet with your driver and transfer by private car to Riva del Garda on Lake Garda. On the way to Sirmione you will be surrounded by the Dolomities of Brenta on the North, and the rich vegetation such as lemon trees, oleanders, magnolia and bouganville. You will stop in Sirmione with time at leisure to look around this beautiful panorama, the castle and Catullo’s ruins. In the evening return to Verona. Accommodation in hotel. Overnight

Day 4 - Verona, StresaBreakfast at the hotel. In the morning time at leisure for shopping or other activities. In the afternoon transfer by train from Verona to Stresa (change in Milan). Arriving in Stresa, accommodation in the 4 star Hotel Simplon or similar. Overnight.

Day 5 – Stresa, Lake Maggiore (Borromeo’s Islands), Turin
Lake MaggioreBreakfast at the hotel. In the morning excursion by public boat to visit the Borromee Islands: Visits include Isola Bella, Isola Pescatori and Isola Madre, All fairly different from each other. In the evening transfer by train from Stresa to Turin. PLEASE NOTE 2 CHANGES: IN ARONA AND NOVARA. Transfer by private car from Rail station to the 4 star Hotel Town House 70 or similar. Overnight.

Day 6 - Turin
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning meet with your guide for the 3 hours walking city tour of Turin. Overnight.

Day 7 - Turin, Langhe Area (Santo Stefano Belbo)
Meet with your private driver. Depart Turin and proceed to Alba. Time to explore this amazing medieval town. Check into your accommodation, Relais San Maurizio in Santo Stefano Belbo, in the heart of the Langhe's area or similar. In the area there are several activities (optional extras) you can choose from to take part in with your private guide and driver, such as:
Visit to the Wine Bank - offering visitors the chance to discover our oenological heritage and to taste the wines from some of the most prestigious wineries.
Wine tasting at Marchesi di Barolo Wineries or similar - In tasting this wine you can clearly perceive the flavour of this land, of its pure, clean air, within the subtle flavours of its produce. This wine is ideally enjoyed as an accompaniment to traditional Piedmontese dishes.
Cheese tasting: Murazzano - a fresh milk cheese; Raschera - a semi-fat cheese made from uncooked milk; Bra - an uncooked milk, pressed cheese; Toma piedmontese - a soft, semi-cooked milk cheese.

Day 8 & 9 - Langhe Area
Take the opportunity to relax at the Relais or try the beauty treatments available at the Spa. You may wish to try some of the optional activities suggested above.

Day 10 - Langhe area, Milan Malpensa Airport
Today you will check out from the hotel and you will be transferred by your private driver to Milan Malpensa airport (approx. transfer time: 2 hours). End of services.
