The “Amalfi Drive” is said to be the most spectacular road in Europe and
from Sorrento the winding clifftop road offers breathtaking panoramic
views at every bend. This package lets you explore this incredible coast.
Day 1: RomeUpon arrival in Rome Fiumicino airport transfer to your hotel. Free time
at leisure. Overnight at hotel on bed & breakfast basis.
Day 2: RomeBreakfast. Pick up at hotel for morning city tour with local guide
including Fontana di Trevi, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Castel S’ Angelo
(from outiside). Tour ends in St. Peter’s Square. Visit of the Basilica on
your own. Afternoon free at leisure. Overnight.
Day 3: Rome, Naples, Pompeii, Sorrento
Upon arrival in Naples, go on a panoramic tour of the city of Naples.
Enjoy lunch, then a visit to ancient city of Pompei. In the late afternoon,
transfer to Sorrento on the “Costiera sorrentina” road. Dinner and
overnight.
Day 4: Sorrento, Capri, Sorrento
After breakfast transfer to the port of Sorrento and after approx 20
minutes by jetboat arrive at the port of Marina Grande on the island
of Capri. Then board motorboats to visit the Blue Grotto (optional)
followed by a panoramic tour of Capri. Free time at leisure before
taking the boat to rejoin hotel in Sorrento. Dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Sorrento/Amalfi Drive excursion: Positano, Amalfi & Ravello
Breakfast at hotel. The “Amalfi Drive” is said to be the most spectacular
road in Europe and from Sorrento, the winding cliff top road offers
breathtaking panoramic views at every bend. Each spot is a world of its
own, a fantastic world which dazzles the imagination and inspires
unforgettable impressions. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 6: Sorrento
Breakfast and dinner at hotel. Free time at leisure to explore the area or
relax by the Mediterranean Sea.
Day 7: Sorrento, RomeBreakfast. Transfer back to Rome. Overnight.
