Early morning departure from Rome, heading south. You will visit the
centre of Naples and continue to Pompeii for a guided visit. Based in
Sorrento you will have the opportunity to discover this alluring coastal
town. You will take a ferry ride across the bay to visit the Island of Capri.
Day 1 Rome, Naples, Pompeii, SorrentoDeparting Rome at 06.45 am.Drive through the regions of Lazio and Campania with a picturesque view of the Abbey ofMontecassino along the way. Arrive in Naples, a short panoramic tour of the city including Mergellina, Castel dell'Ovo, Plebiscito Square, the Royal Palace, the Maschio Angioino and the Port. Proceed for a visit to the Cameo and Coral factory, then on to Pompeii. Visit of the ruins of this famous Roman city. After lunch in a traditional restaurant, continue to Sorrento to check into your hotel and enjoy dinner before resting up for the adventures ahead.
Day 2 Sorrento
Free time to discover the beauty of this wonderful coastal resort - famous for the cultivation of oranges, lemons and olive trees. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3 Sorrento, Capri
 At 08.30 am depart by boat for Capri. After a short panoramic tour of the island you may opt to visit the Blue Grotto in a small boat (not included, weather and sea conditions permitting). Check into your new hotel for some well deserved rest.
Day 4 Capri
Set out early to discover the beauty of Capri at your own pace. Explore the many shops and restaurants of this wonderful island or take a swimin the Gulf of Naples. If the excursion to the Blue Grotto didn't pan out the day before, you may choose to take the row boat excursion today. Return to your hotel for your last evening in Capri.
Day 5 Capri, Rome
Spend a leisurely morning eating breakfast at your hotel and doing some last minute sighseeing or shopping in Capri. Transfer to Naples in the afternoon (at 04.00 - 04.30 pm approx.) and go on to Rome. Expected time of arrival 9.00 pm.
