Explore the ruins of Pompeii, the city of Naples, the beautiful Sorrento
coast and the marvellous Island of Capri. A great introduction to the
wonders of the Amalfi Coast.
Day 1 Rome, Naples, Pompeii, Sorrento Early morning departure from Rome for Naples, where a short visit of the town is featured. Then on to Pompeii, the famous Roman city destroyed by the volcanic eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79 AD. Lunch in a local restaurant, and afterwards, visit of the excavations. (Approximately 2 hours). Proceed on to Sorrento. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 2 (2 Day Package) Sorrento, Capri, Rome
Continental breakfast. Departure to Capri by steamer. Weather and sea conditions permitting, visit the Blue Grotto. Return to Marina Grande and then transfer to Anacapri. Lunch in a typical restaurant followed by a visit of Augustus’ Gardens with a view of the Faraglioni. Return to Rome, at approx. 9.30 pm.
Day 2 (3 Day Package) Sorrento
Buffet breakfast. Day at leisure in Sorrento. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 3 (3 Day Package) Sorrento, Capri, Rome
